About the space

The Schwerter House in Dresden is traditionally a well-known commercial property.

The Saxon chocolate factory “Riedel & Engelmann” was founded here in 1888.

Chocolate production ended in 1989 and the renamed “Schwerter-Schokolade” factory was completely renovated from 1991 and the old charm of the building was restored by adding 3 floors to the south wing (war damage).

From 1992 to the present day, the occupancy rate of the approx. 4500 m² office and practice space has fluctuated between 91 and 99%.

Dresden-Plauen, south of the main train station and close to the Technical University.

Due to the good transport connections, it only takes about 7 minutes by car to reach the historic city center of Dresden and the main train station.

Public transport stops such as tram, bus and S-Bahn are just a few minutes’ walk away.

It takes 10 minutes by car to get to the motorway entrance.

The Schwerter-Haus property also has an entrance/exit to Zwickauer Strasse.

In the residential and commercial area there are also many shops and small restaurants.

The individual office can be reached via the main staircase with a passenger elevator on the 4th floor south wing.

A separate toilet unit is located for the 14 individual offices in the C staircase (2nd entrance to the 4th floor).

The offices have large windows with louvered shading and are covered with vinyl flooring in a wood look.

The ceilings are provided with integrated computer-compatible lighting.

You can still see the refurbished beams of the old chocolate factory.

The data processing and electrical cabling is distributed via cable ducts under the window, VDSL is available.
