About the space

For rent are 2 desks - in Berlin-Mitte at Alex - in an office of architects, engineers, designers, professional woodworkers

We mainly work in the planning and production of wooden houses, customized built-in and furniture. We have second location with workshop and CNC(-router) in Berlin-Tempelhof (and a company in Sheffield (UK).

The building is an office and studio house in the Klosterstraße (at the Alex, U2 Klosterstraße, opposite the Palais Podewils), in the house are various offices and studios (theaters) of the freien Theater- und Tanzszene (“free theater and dance scene”), design, fashion, architecture, photography. In the building are also available various studios (rooms) on a per-day basis.

Our rental unit has approx. 80 m2 with separate office space of approx. 40 m2 for 4 workstations, as well as a multi-function room (studio) including kitchen line. See the photos below a floor plan.

One (1) workspace corresponds to a partial area of ​​the large office table of at least 90x200 cm and incl. Sideboard at least 1.80 m (see photos) - and no sharing of desk etc.

There is “normal” fast Internet and a 5-in-1 printer (A4 color, duplex print & scan) and we gonna soon invest in a A1 large format printer (A3 sheet, width 61 cm from roll).

The rooms are very bright incl. Beautiful sunsets, in the summer it’s warm, in winter even so chilly … in the office is a more concentrated atmosphere, with little telephone.

The conditions:

• Month rent 180 € plus 19% VAT (about 214,20 € gross)
• notice period of 2 months
• Security deposit of 2 monthly rens (330 €)

There is “normal” fast internet and a 5-in-1-printer (A4 color) at which you can print occasionally. The office is very bright, with a view of the Rote Rathaus (and our city castle on the horizon), incl. beautiful sunsets.
