About the space

One-storey production halls and a high administration building - these were the specifications for the architect who built the Friedrich Stolzenberg & Co. gear factory and iron foundry in Berlin-Reinickendorf in 1898. After the acquisition by GSG, the entire complex was largely preserved, demolished buildings were replaced by new one- to two-storey buildings and the whole thing was transformed into an attractive commercial complex.

Today, the site, which still looks historic from the outside, includes ten buildings with 59 commercial units that offer a different range of uses - from 40 square meter offices to 1,400 square meter production areas. Small and medium-sized companies from the fields of packaging, environmental and medical technology appreciate this courtyard - not least because of the many ground floors, which make logistical processes particularly easy.

Gears and hardware were originally produced at Saalmannstraße 7-9/ Waldstraße. Today, small and medium-sized companies have settled in the red brick building, which is characteristic of the end of the 19th century - an attractive area, especially for the manufacturing industry.

The Waldstraße industrial estate is conveniently located in the north of Berlin, directly at the Karl-Bonhoeffer-Klinik S-Bahn station. The underground station Karl-Bonhoeffer-Klinik can be reached in about 2 minutes on foot. In about 20 minutes by car you can reach City-West via the city motorway. A good connection to the surrounding area is guaranteed via the city ring road. Gastronomic supply and shopping facilities are directly adjacent or in the Wald- and Ollenhauer Straße.
