An extensive attic conversion in a listed building in Alt-Tempelhof creates plenty of space for new offices. The roof truss, roofing and facade were professionally renovated. The new office spaces on the top floor, as inserted white, round structures, play with the perception of inside and outside, old and new.

In the uniform gray of the floor, the ceiling and the existing walls, the white structures used float in the room and set themselves apart from the adjacent components with a shadow gap. With their curved shape, they create a dynamic flow of movement in the attic and define individual functional areas such as the waiting zone, copying areas and cloakroom. The bodies themselves accommodate the tin tanks and offices as concentrated work areas. The old roof construction is visible here and creates a connection to the history of the building. The light shining between the individual structures underlines their physicality and, with the modern and unreal lines of the room structures, creates an exciting contrast to the down-to-earth atmosphere in the offices.

The property is a two-minute walk from At-Tempelhof underground station. The Berlin city motorway is approx. 700 m away and thus offers a very good connection to the city center west and east, in particular to the airports Tegel and Schönefeld (each approx. 20 minutes).

The S-Bahn station and regional train station SÜDKREUZ can be reached in about 5 minutes by car or on foot in about 15 minutes.
