This commercial space offered here is located in the green backyard in Düsseldorf Pempelfort.

Pempelfort is a district with an urban atmosphere and is therefore popular with young people and singles. Nevertheless, the social structure in the district is extremely diverse - both in terms of age and income of its residents.

There is a lot on offer in terms of culture in this district, because Pempelfort is very closely linked to Düsseldorf’s development as an art and garden city. Large parts of the Hofgarten with the Hofgärtnerhaus (today the Theater Museum), the Jägerhof Palace built in the 18th century by Johann Josef Couven (today the seat of the Goethe Museum) as well as the historic Golzheim Cemetery and the Rochus Church are located in Pempelfort. Here is also the Ehrenhof complex built in 1925 according to plans by Wilhelm Kreis with a concert hall, NRW forum and the “museum kunst palast” complex, which was newly opened after thorough renovation. The idyllically located Malkasten with its restaurant is once again one of the hippest addresses in the city.

The nearby Rheinpark and the carefully renovated Art Nouveau swimming pool Münster-Therme offer you further opportunities for leisure activities.

The shopping mile Nordstraße can be seen as the center of the western Pempelfort, which is the largest shopping street outside of the city center with numerous shops of all kinds. In between and in the side streets there are many pubs, restaurants and cafes; especially many Italians - from simple to noble. Also popular is the site of the former freight depot, where a number of shops and restaurants offer their services.

The good transport connections also make the district interesting. Pempelfort is served by a variety of tram and bus routes. In the east, the Wehrhahn and Zoo train stations offer connections to the Rhine-Ruhr S-Bahn.
