How we took bricks and mortar and turned it flexible

Over the past weeks, we’ve been asked from various sides about the story behind Setting and decided to share it in this blog post.

Setting was started after countless hours spent at coffeeshops, co-working and home-working environments which lead our productivity flow to be interrupted. We knew there had to be a better way to getting an office to meet our flexible needs, but there wasn’t.

So it began, we were three self-starters, having met and worked together while living in Romania. We decided to put the idea to work. The idea whereby entrepreneurs and startup companies of fast growing nature could get an office space without having to worry about long term contracts, non transparent information and pair it with variety choices and ease to acquire an office. These principles became the basis of Setting.

Soon enough, among entrepreneurial peers and invitations attended, we came to realise that finding the right office space was a bigger problem than initially thought - faced by independents, founders, and startup teams worldwide. And among those invitations, one took place in Berlin, where we eventually decided to setup within its thriving startup ecosystem :-)

Fast forward to today, we are constantly excited for be able to help provide office spaces to ambitious individuals, and startups to meet their workspace needs. Regardless of size, they all share the need of a flexible workspace to build their culture and story.

As for us, we are working to bring flexibility to brick and mortar in a modern world.
